Gin off

George was competing for kyrö in a gin off yesterday. And as a loving girlfriend I was there to support him.

Since I have W full time for a week when Ol is off gallivanting I worked from home to be able to take care of him.

Not a bad day for park life.

Woolly ate mud

And I ate ice cream. Mr Whippy in my heart forever.
After that hard day of work I left mini snoozer and headed into Soho and graphic bar for the competition.

George kitted me out in team outfit. In rye we trust.

And then it started. Basically 4 teams from different gin brands competed with a cocktail each. You tried them all and then voted for your favourite.
George and kyrö did a brilliant hibiscus and sage drink. Which I almost blew by wondering what that intriguing juice in the fridge was this morning. Last second remembered the competition…

Elliot’s team handed out the drinks in hip flasks you got to keep. How’s that for bribery. And one team made an ice cream drink.
A pistachio, limoncello, salty caramel and cardamom deliciousness (sorry babe but that was all kinds of yummy).

In the end my boys won and are now in for the next round. The ice cream guys too.
Proud of my man. And myself since everyone came up congratulating me on my kyrö t-shirt. Thanks, did a hard job not drinking that syrup.

Winning team got a napue GT. Don’t mind if I do. But then I needed to head home to Woolly and my bed. Monday after all.

And tomorrow this beauty moves in for a couple of days. Yes, I’m running a B&B for George’s lost friends :).
Summer has come to London so tonight W and me will take a walk and then sofa it. Winners!
