Summer party times

London is freezing today and we are having our summer party. Instead of wearing a dress I’m in jeans and a turtle neck. High five for English summer.

But, I’m doggo free all weekend so I’m sure I’ll find ways of keeping warm…a pub comes to mind…
BloggerImage
Woolly made everyone fall in love with him in the office but now he is off to live the good life with his grandma.
BloggerImage
Good for my poor legs since I’ve been walking over 65.000 steps over the last 3 days. That’s 11h. You are killing me Woolly.
After all that walking we invited Etienne and Sally for dinner last night. George made fajitas and lit candles.
BloggerImage
Then we drank loads of GT from George’s bag of swag.
BloggerImage
Duly impressed.
So tonight party times. Celebrating a year at Deezer, that my team is awesome and that it’s summer even if you couldn’t tell from the cold.

Hippies vs hipsters

Woolly is being office dog today as well. This morning he aced the uk marketing meeting.

BloggerImage
My boss was very impressed by his attitude.
Last night me and george just chilled. We do that occasionally. I promise. But this weekend we did everything but donning our best outfits going to a hippie vs hipsters party.
BloggerImage
I started the day going to see this little mini man. He was 4 weeks early so still tiny even if he is 3 months. Hello mini gibbons.
BloggerImage
Then I got drenched. London don’t disappoint.
BloggerImage
But when it’s party times you just have to dry yourself off and dig deep in the dress up box for an awesome outfit.
BloggerImage
I was a hippie and george a hipster. Pretty appropriate. He basically wore his every day clothes and I just brought out my BM gear.
BloggerImage
Kosta and tea, friends of george from Sydney, are living in Barcelona at the moment and came over for a one night party. Got to love Europe.
BloggerImage
We played beer pong. I didn’t get to be on George’s team after him asking if I was good and when I said no he told me he play to win. So much for standing by your woman…
BloggerImage
So I danced instead. And made friends. I know I win at that.
BloggerImage
And george hung out with his hipster boys.
BloggerImage
And eventually it got too dark for them to play so I got my man to come chill with me on the dance floor.
BloggerImage
Around here somewhere it was time to see ourselves home. Good call. On the Sunday we slept to 4 because heroes.

Lana del Rey

Woolly is joining me for work today. Oliver is on holiday and the office is summer quiet.

BloggerImage
So this little mini man gets to chill with us. He is behaving admirable.
BloggerImage
Yesterday I got last minute tickets to Lana del Rey’s sold out concert via work. Loving office perks. I brought my main man for some Monday fun.
BloggerImage
She was amazing. And what a voice. All of a sudden she just ripped off love a capella. I mean come on.
BloggerImage
O2 was filled to the max and we had an awesome time.
Then we went home to watch the last episode of GoT. Not sad about that.
Life. You fucking rock!

Wookie times

Friday!! Welcome weekend. It might look like you’ll give us rain but I’ll just take that as a sign that im meant to stay in bed and read books. So no harm done.

BloggerImage
Yesterday went out to meet with Jason I haven’t seen in ages. We went to a couple of bars and ended in graphic bar where I had the bartender promise not to tell George I wasn’t drinking napue.
BloggerImage
Meanwhile he probably couldn’t care less being the happiest kid on the planet after getting a belated bday gift from Harry.
BloggerImage
Look at that smile. I only wish he smiled like that while looking at me 😉
BloggerImage
Me and Woolly where home by 10 and ready for bed. After starting on the anti depressants again I get way more drunk than before. I remember that from last time. So I try and monitor and not drink too much at the moment. Working pretty well. Otherwise I’m feeling very good, the medicine is really helping and I’m way less stressed about work and life.
High five me!

Dress for success

George and me went to the cinema and saw Spider-Man yesterday. It was awesome. Not often I laugh out loud but there I was almost peeing my pants.

BloggerImage
But let’s rewind to the beginning of the day. I had said yes to sit in a CRM panel on this data conference in Tel aviv in October but when I got the email from them it seems they want me to be a speaker. In front of thousands of people.
Naturally I freaked out. And went to HM to buy a very cute and immature makeup sponge. Because gaaaaaaaaaah.
BloggerImage
Then I waited for George to pick up W and come home. We were supposed to be doggo free but Ols gf had to go into hospital so he got to come and chill with us.
BloggerImage
Once home I told George that W are coming with me to work next week and he decided to give him a smarter look.
BloggerImage
Look at this proud little man. Ready to take over the music business.
BloggerImage
Beyond cute
BloggerImage
Because I’m a grandma I packed all my candy on ziplock bags. Yes. And happy with it.
BloggerImage
When we got back W wasn’t done dressing up loving the smell of my unicorn slipper.
BloggerImage
Yes you are a unique unicorn Woolly
BloggerImage
This morning George looked stylish reading a book in a language he don’t understand. As you do.
And that was my Wednesday folks. Not too shabby if you ask me.

I’m a banana

Everything is so summery at the moment. Slow times at work, warm weather, lazy evenings, way too warm snuggles in bed. Amazing in other words.

BloggerImage
Came back to a sunny office and new sun loungers. So yes, worked for a good hour in the sun. Thank you Deezer for adding to my tan.
BloggerImage
In the evening picked up mini man and went home for mega snooze time. Because that is what we do.
BloggerImage
My new painting from mum and dad now sits prettily in our living room entwined with greenery. I love that little lonely penguin.
BloggerImage
And yesterday was a repeat. Work – sun lounger – pick up Woolly – sofa – Snapchat filter to remind my boyfriend to miss me when he is out gallivanting around town.
Tonight the new Spider-Man movie. And a ocado delivery of all times good and Swedish.

On the windy moors of Scotland

Back from Scotland. That was beyond amazing. I’ve dreamt of going to Scotland since I was a little girl listening to Enya and finally it was time. Thank you George eternally for making it happen.

BloggerImage
We landed in Edinburgh on the Thursday and headed straight out for dinner with the birthday kid Stephen. So. Much. Food. Total food crash back at the hotel even if we had a 3D tv. Fail.
BloggerImage
In the morning there was a bit of never ending faffing with the car rental company and we ended on leaving 3h later than planned.
BloggerImage
But who cares when you are on the roads in Scotland?! Highlands baby. My sexy man drove us safely up the coast and I fell even more in love with him with every gorgeous mile.
BloggerImage
After hours on the road with views like this
BloggerImage
And a million wee pauses we finally arrived in beautiful scrabster
BloggerImage
We were not sorry to leave and jump on the ferry to the orkneys. After a bumpy ride with the obligatory seasick we reached our goal
BloggerImage
Otherworldly beautiful Orkney. Seriously. I think I must be a descendant of some Viking chillin in this place back in the days because it totally felt like home.
BloggerImage
For some it felt more like food.
BloggerImage
BloggerImage
I ended up leaving everyone and just walking around ‘feeling the nature’. Yes, totally one of those experiences.
BloggerImage

BloggerImage
We ran around like kids while the setting sun painted the world in pinks and purples. Spectacular with the purple heather on the moors
BloggerImage
Such kids.
After all of that we went back to the house for a midnight dinner before crashing in bed as soon as the food was finished. Weaklings.
BloggerImage
Saturday gave us true Scottish weather with relentless rain. Since I’m me I was wearing nothing practical. But my leather jacket have seen worse conditions than this.
BloggerImage
BloggerImage
I was lajving wuthering heights pretending heathcliff was coming to sweep me off my feet.
BloggerImage
He did <3.
BloggerImage
In the afternoon it stopped raining. But first we went to an old tomb raided by Vikings in the 12th century leaving rune graffiti saying things like ‘asbjorn is the best rune mason in the world’ and ‘svein was here’. Love that people haven’t changed.
BloggerImage
We did some very windy cliff walking. Good thing we are both sturdy on the ground.
BloggerImage
I mean come on!
BloggerImage
Selfie galore.
BloggerImage
Everything made my soul ache. I know that is cheesy but it’s true. I don’t really know how to explain exactly how much I felt at home and harmonic in that place.
BloggerImage
Then we took a stroll through the fields.
BloggerImage
Acted like kids again.
BloggerImage
And met some horses
BloggerImage
In the evening birthday dinner for Stephen. My steak had haggis on it. Delicious. I even like the sounds of bagpipes. I think I might be part Scottish. Or like having an ancestor that was kidnapped from these shores by the raiding vikings back in the days.
BloggerImage
On the Sunday we had to leave early to catch the ferry and start the drive down. Sorry babe for being useless making you drive the whole way.
BloggerImage
Kept being beautiful. I did not want to leave. It’s something about sitting in a car with the person you love and just take in the landscape.
BloggerImage
Because we are awesome!!
BloggerImage
We entered the land of Michaels family
BloggerImage
And decided to visit their castle. Because who doesn’t want a castle?
BloggerImage
George does so he tried to break in. Sorry hun, one day we might have a little cabin but I don’t think castle is in our future.
BloggerImage
After some food and like 5 more hours driving we finally got to the airport. Very tired. It was a long day of traveling. Crashed in bed around 1am.
BloggerImage
This was by far one of my best holidays. I love Scotland, I loved going there and experiencing it with George and I feel so relaxed and kind of in harmony after this holiday.
